We hope to visit and stay on-site in a moderate Feb18-25, 2003. I called CRO and was quoted $169 at CBR. I know this is a peak time, but the rate quoted seems expensive for a moderate. CRO said no special rates have been issued yet. What are the chances a better rate will be offered, or will this rate be the best I can do? We would like to stay at CBR since I have friend going and staying there at the same time. Any suggestions/comments will be appreciated! Thank you.

I have reservations for rent for studios at the BCV and one at Boardwalk for Check in Sunday Feb 16, five nights for less than your quote at the CBR. And, so much nicer rooms and resorts.....

Here is a link to rack rates for 2003:

$169.00 is the rate listed for CBR during your time period.

You might be able to get a AAA discount but for that time period other types of discounts (codes etc.) aren't usually available.

We're checking in on February 12 and that's the last day of value season so we'll get value season rates.

Good luck!:D

Hey JennSaint, thanks for AAA tip, now why didn't I think of that:confused: Called CRO and requested AAA rate and was quoted $159 w/ tax included. Sure is better than original quote of $187 including tax. What do you fellow dis'ers think, any chance of doing better than the AAA rate over President's week? I love a bargain and also the hunt to find it! Thanks again for all your tips, these boards are the best.
