We are going to have two birthdays (10 and 6), so we would like to have a Kodak moment and have the performers recognize these two. Online, it says "parties recognized"... so I'm assuming that what it means.

Other than that... given the two choices, what would you recommend? We are leaning Spirit...

I find Hoop far more enteraining...

And they do a great job calling out the birthday's / celebrations.

We just returned and my boys ages 5 and 7 love this show. They were laughing hysterically at times. I got a kick out of watching them enjoy the show. Cast members also locate celebrations and call them out. :goodvibes

We've done HDDR, and had a great time. Everyone in the group (ages 6-62) enjoyed it. Plus, if it rains the Spirit of Aloha will be cancelled.

I've done both, and was pulled onstage at Spirit of Aloha for my birthday (which was just "The Luau" at the time, I believe). Both places are great about recognizing birthdays. For food and entertainment, though, I'd say HDDR all the way!!

Definitely HDDR - I am a huge fan! In fact we're going there with a party of 26 for my wedding reception :)

I find the Spirit of Aloha lacking - I've been 3 times....the food is average...not great, the dessert is awful, and the show is just OK.

HDDR has great food, the show is fun and interactive, we love it all around!

HDDR has my vote! It is allot of fun, and the food is good.
