Need advice from those who have booked under another country's offer please

Hello,

I booked this morning under the current Irish offer, and I have just logged in to My Disneyland and it says that I have an outstanding balance to pay, even though I paid the entire cost this morning.

The remaining cost is the difference between the Irish and English cost...
The lady on the phone said she hadn't done a cross booking before, so is it possible that something's gone wrong?

Do I need to call back?!
 
I think you may have to, sounds like something has gone wrong. We have a trip booked for July through the uk site & I added that one to My Disneyland but the trip in oct booked through the netherlands site (done online), I haven't added My Disneyland just in case. My confirmation email for the netherlands booking confirms that payment has been made in full.
 
Oooh no :( the phone bill! I even started to get a bit fed up of hearing 'Magic Everywhere' on the last phone call I was on hold for so long while the lady tried to find out how to do the booking!

I haven't had a confirmation email, hence why I logged into My Disneyland....:confused3
 
Wait a bit as things can take a while to update with Disney .... Where were you calling as there might be a cheaper way to call if you have to later on :)
 

They were a bit clueless on the phone to me so I booked online.

Think it's only worth phone booking if you're going to pay deposit only.

Thanks Carrie. Had the confirmation email today, says the same thing as My Disneyland. It was an 0844 number (American lady on phone) so shouldn't cost too much, but it's my mum's phone bill so I feel bad! I will give her the money but it's just frustrating as it doesn't need to be a long process if people know what they're doing...

Exactly Torsie, I would have much preferred to book online, but unfortunately when booking under another country's offer you have to ring now as when the address line doesn't match the country you are booking under online it won't accept the booking.

Oh dear, that sucks. I only booked a week ago, I must've just missed the cut off!

Same here, I booked online on the 21st using the netherlands site, just left the country as it was & added uk after my town, got receipt immediately & confirmation email within a few hours
 
Confirmation email came through, but still with the wrong amount. Will phone on monday once it's been a week and hope they understand my explanation!
 
I live in Scotland and booked via the Ireland site on the 28th April (not being able to change the country). My booking went through fine, even the credit card payment (which surprised me), and I was charged the expected Ireland Euro amount (converted to Sterling at my CC's rate).

Maybe there is an inconsistency. I hope they honour your original Euro price.

Good news...checked myDisneyland today (to check what the balance was before I rang them) and the outstanding balance has changed to zero :worship: :thumbsup2
