I am contemplating purchasing the Tassimo as Bed, Bath and Beyond has a great deal this week. I am getting the Keurig for my father (he really wants one!) but thought the Tassimo would work better for our household.
I've read it's very user friendly but doesn't make a good cup of regular coffee - is this your experience? I see that they have Gevalia (DH's family's preference) as well as Starbucks (my family's preference) T-discs. I would not want to get the unit if the regular coffee didn't taste very good.
Also, is it easy to clean the unit? Can you go from making a latte to a regular cup of coffee to a chai tea without doing any type of cleaning or running with water?
