Ok, so we waited too long to book RPR (DH wanted to wait because of a possible business conflict), so now there aren't any rooms available for a single or two night at RPR the end of Easter Week, I know...I know, shocking :scared1: - let's not go into the conversation between my DH & I in the last 15 minutes :rotfl:

So I've had to make a 4-night reservation, here's the question - after check-in can I cancel the last two nights? or are we going to get charged for the additional two nights (it would serve my DH right if we were)?

Yep, there's a lot of "I told you so"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, we've always stayed onsite, what are the other hotels at the entrance of Universal?

Thanks so much for any opinions :lovestruc

Cancellations need to be made 5 days in advance. I think in an emergency, they would cancel for you but they have no obligation to do so.

Check out Hyatt Place Universal. It is nice. You could also book a Getaway package or Harry Potter package through the Universal Orlando website. It allows you to stay offsite but still get early entry -- there is a choice of many offsite hotels. It is the next best thing to staying onsite, imho.
