Okay,. I need some advice. In September, 2003 (right after we returned from our first trip) I made reservations for July 18,2005 for Hoop de Doo Revue so that we would have the best seats in the house. I skipped making them for July 2004 trip because we planned that with only 4 months notice. Now the hard part - we had to changed our reservations from July 7-19 to July 1-15. See the problem. We won't be able to make our July 18 reservation. Should I try to make the reservations for a different date in July (with only 6 months advance res) or change the reservation for our January 2006 reservation? Would it make a difference if I made the July 2005 reservations for either the earlies or latest show? Originally we had the 7:30 show? Let me know. BTW when I cancel our Hoop de Doo original reservation I'll post it - maybe someone on the boards can get a really good spot. It is for a party of 4.

You can make a request as to where you want to sit. We had made our ressie atleast 6mths in advance but I did not request a seat until we checked in. Partly because I wasn't aware that I could. When we checked in I asked if there was any way of telling us where we would be sitting? Then I proceeded to state that I had two very small children and I wanted them to be able to see. Ialso said I did not weant to be on the top as for I would be so nervous one of my dd's would fall off. The CM was great! She put a note in her system with a request. We went to the Hoop Dee Doo Revue and had front row seats. My DH was even picked to be the Fairy godmother at the end. This made our expierence wounderful and my 2 dd's still talk about it(dd's at the time were 3&4). Hope this helps.

It was my understanding that the seating was selected by how early you made your reservation. The earlier you made it the closer you were upfront. Has this changed?

That may be true. I know I plan far in advance. Maybe I was one of the first to book so that's how we got such good seats? I will never know. It is worth a question to the dinning CM's I would say.

I made our reservations about 4 months in advance for our July trip two years ago. We ended up front row dead center. So my advice is to go ahead and change your dates. It is still early and not everyone knows they can book the shows 2 years out.

Thanks, I think I will do that. I forget that not everyone devours Disney like we do. BTW which show did you do, the 5:15, 7:30 or 9:30?

We were at the 7:30 one. Afterwards we took the hayride which went down to the water and we got to watch the MK fireworks show. They even had a truck pull up behind us with the music playing. It was very cool!
