Need advice about a deal I just got at the YC

I just got an amazing deal at the YC - basically 2 nights at the same price as POR. The CM I made reservations with said it was one of those weird things that comes up 1 in every 200 times.

Now thinking about it, I would like to book a 3rd night at this amazing resort. I am worried if I call, it will somehow be taken away! Or I will not get that rate. Any thoughts on this? Should I call or just be happy with the 2 nights and leave it at that?

If its a pin it should be attached to your name and you should be able to lengthen your trip, I should think.

Thanks for the reply. I didn't get a pin, at least the cm didn't tell me one. I don't see one when I pull up the reservation online.

Just call and ask what they can do, just dont make any changes if it isnt available for an extra night it cant hurt! And if it isnt available it wont cancel the ressie you have now.

It is likely what Disney used to call "managers specials", etc. - if Disney is trying to get rooms sold, they sometimes will offer a resort at a reduced price. It used to happen much more often (when I worked there in 2001, it wasn't uncommon).

It is really rare now - so congrats! There is nothing wrong with calling and seeing if they have the room for another night.

What a wonderful deal. As far as trying to extend your stay by one night at the discounted rate, it would certainly be worth a try. If they can't offer you the same rate for the third night, maybe they can at least give you a discounted rate. Go for it.

Asking to add on another day will not affect what you already have. Either they can do it, or they can't.

I wouldn't worry about it, they can only say either yes or no, but they can't take away what they already gave you. You have your confirmation, plus I am sure it was just one of those magical moments and maybe your name did have a pin number next to it. HAVE FUN!!

those are what are called "upsells" I had gotten a few, couple years ago. I was able to add a day or two with not a problem.

From what I understand, these "pop-ups", "upsells" and "managers specials" are for all different dates. I had one pop up for a timeframe 2 weeks prior to when we are going. My sister got 2, one @ the Boardwalk for the week they are going. I'm still trying to modify my POP package and am hoping for an upsell deal!
