Need a room for one night.

Hi,
I am arriving late on Wed for a stay in AoA from Thurs-Mon.

The original plan was to fly into the airport, cab it to a hotel near downtown disney (can use chase ultimate reward points to book), and then meet the rest of the group thurs. morning at AoA by taking a shuttle from downtown disney.

I am learning that the shuttle from Downtown Disney to AoA may not be an option since we will have luggage with us.

I am now thinking about getting a room at Pop and just spending the $90 (since ill probably spend near that in cabs and shuttles)

Would it be wise to wait to book Pop until closer to my need date. It currently falls under the Late Summer/ Early Fall rate but i was hoping it would be cheaper the closer it gets.

If the cheapest rate that you are looking at POP is the standard view under the Fall discount - that would be the best that you are going to be able to do. I don't believe that there will be anything cheaper. If it isn't a standard view and you can find a standard view at one of the All Stars then you could book that and take ME from the airport and Disney will move your luggage the next day for you or you could take a cab from All Stars to AOA with your luggage in tow.

If you are looking at a standard rate for POP I would go ahead and book it - you can take the ME from the airport to POP and then the next morning just take your luggage and walk across the bridge to AOA, or have Disney move it for you.

I think standard view at all-star sports is a little bit cheaper than pop. But only a little bit. Try pricing it thru orbitz, it may be cheaper than Disney.
