Need a one night stay near MCO in a safer area that won’t break the bank

Any of the hotels just north of the airport on/off Semoran Blvd. are fine. Also restaurants nearby.

We recently had a room booked at the TownePlace Suites at Orlando Airport - it has really great reviews and an airport shuttle. Our plans ended up changing but it looked like a perfect option, and really reasonable rates.

Any of the airport hotels located just north of MCO are all safe and located in a good area.. IMHO, I would personally recommend either the Embassy Suites or the DoubleTree..

That area isn't the best IMO. As long as you stay in your hotel it should be fine but there are weird and shady characters just hanging around the Wawa and other places who will come up to you and ask for money, etc. or there was one guy who was sleeping on the couch inside the sliding door entrance of the Homewood Suites before reception.
