any ideas. We have about five different pies but nothing else. Recipes please.

Our favorites are the Pumpkin Job recipe that's been floating around the boards and this one:

Pumpkin Job
16 oz pumpkin
3/4 c sugar
2 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1/2 c Jiffy mix
2 tsp vanilla
2 Tbl margarine
1 can evaporated milk
2 eggs
Spray crockery with non-stick spray. Beat ingredients together until smooth with a hand mixer. Pour into crockery. Cook on Low 6-8 hours, High 3-4 hours. Top with cool whip or ice cream. Optional: add 2 apples sliced. Serves 6

G-Gram’s Frozen Junk (that's what she always called it, "Frozen Junk")

2 c pineapple, crushed
2 ripe bananas
1/2 c maraschino cherries
Slice bananas in circles. Cut cherries into halves. Dump all ingredients into a shallow pan. Include juice with both pineapple & cherries. Freeze. This is best when allowed to defrost slightly before serving.

. . . or a cheesecake, or a bread pudding, or ambrosia, or just plain fruit salad with canned peaches & pears, green grapes, maybe frozen blueberries?

Here is one that everyone loves. It uses cottage cheese, but even people who hate cottage cheese wind up requesting it.

1 container cottage cheese
1 container cool whip
1 can crushed pineapple drained
1 can manderine oranges chopped
1 package orange jello

Mix crushed pineapple and jello(dump it in dry, don't add water) together until jello disolves. Add all the other ingrediants and stir together. Stick it in the fridge and call it a day! Enjoy!
