Need a little help deciding?PLEASE

Hi I am really wanting to plan a trip to DL and since I can't go in June like I originally wanted to I am looking at two different dates one is July 28-Aug 1 or Aug 17,18 - aug 22. Any help or advice either from past experience or just some welcome advice I would really really appreciate it. I know that it will be busy with summer but I was just curious if one of those might be a little less than the other and it will be weekdays. Thanks

From what I've read the calendar gives you a good indication of crowd levels, I checked your July dates (August details aren't up yet), and looks like fireworks and F! each night, early openings and closing at midnight... so DL expects it to be busy...

Both of your dates will be hot weather, probably hotter at the end of August... that might lower the crowd levels a little... but then again, because there are only a couple weeks before school starts people might be taking last minute vacations...

Lots of people have posted how to deal with DL in the busy season, might as well read those tips and prepare yourself!

Six of one and half dozen of another. The later date take places about when the AP blackouts lift so you would be visiting with a bunch of savvy AP holders. But the summer crowds will be lightening up. I agree with the PP that it is likely to be a little warmer in August.
