I am looking for a good cute pair of jeans that won't stretch the later in the day. I have a butt but as the day goes on it looks like I have none because jeans stretch out or they are made for no butts. I am not considered overweight but am not a size 0 either. I am a size 8 and still can not find a decent pair of jeans. Help!!!! I want to look good for all the holiday gatherings :thumbsup2

I am the same size as you, and I have had the same problem...hate when cool jeans turn to saggy bags on me....ugh! For me... I found success and jeans that will endure the day with the Gap perfect bootcut and Silver Suki jeans from the Buckle. I did not want to spend that much, but I found it worth it for the frustration other brands were causing me.... like all other brands. Good luck!

I like Silver jeans also. I think I have the Tuesday style. I ordered them from Maurices online for $90 but they've been well worth the price. They are thick denim and don't stretch like most of the cheaper Old Navy jeans I used to wear. If you are interested, measure your inseam before ordering. I often wear a tall in jeans (bootcuts) but the regular length in the Silver brand is very long, IMO. I mistakenly ordered the longs and they're probably 10" too long, LOL! I'm 5'6", so not very small.

I hate the new stretch jeans. Drives me nuts. I like a nice pair of jeans, but all of them in the stores are either stretch and/or tummy tuck style. Instead I usually wind up with a pair of men's straight cut. Makes me wish I bought more than one of my favorites years ago.

try Angels jeans. kohls,fashion bug,boscovs
they are perfect -stretchy but never stretch out!
sometimes you have to look in the juniors section for them

Just look for jeans that are made with 100% cotton that don't have any Lycra or stretch enabling fabric content.

That's almost impossible. I try to look for key words on the hang tag for anything that mentions it. Sometimes they don't even say it there.

I found a nice pair of jeans on clearance, even tried them on. It wasn't till the end of the first day that I realized they were stretch and that's when I checked the tag.

A thrift store might be a better option for finding 100% cotton jeans. It's just a pain looking for the right size, brand, and then style.

I get all of my jeans at Aeropostale. I wear a size 2 at GAP, but a size 5/6 REG at Aero. My mom is a size 8 normally, but she can wear a 9/10 LONG at Aero. They have great skinny jeans and their bootcuts are good, too. I am 34 and my mom is 53, so anyone can wear them, not just superyoung people. LOL!

Okay, well, stop looking at the hang tag and start looking at the fabric content tag sewn into the jeans themselves.

Sad Fact:

Old Navy jeans.....Diva, Flirt, Sweatheart and Dreamer ALL strectch throughout the day.
The rule of thumb is to purchase the smallest size you can comfortable zip up and they the will stretch a big.

I bought my regular sixe in a "short" which is still 3 inches too long, and within hours they are stretched out baggy and I'm pulling up the back waist.

Don't bother with the Gap jeans - I just spent $120 on two pair that stretch out in a matter of hours!

I have a pair of levi's (more than one pair, pretty much all I wear because they fit me.) but one pair has elastic/spandex woven in. They are the one pair that form fit. End of the day, they still curve to my behind, never look like I'm carrying a lunch sack.

They are 529's.

If you can afford them, try Joe's jeans. They are expensive but totally worth it. I'm also a size 8 & had the same problem with all my old navy, gap, kohls jeans. A shop in town was going out of business & they were half price. I bought a pair & now that's all I wear. We have an outlet nearby so I had my husband get me a giftcard there last year. I've actually had my friends compliment me on how great my butt looks (and I do not have anything close to a perfect figure!). I've since thrown out all my old jeans & have 4 pairs of jeans that I love. Quality vs quantity.

Lucky brand.

well worth the price no stretching out. I c an wear them at least twice before washing.

jeans without spandex/lycra don't exist. thats the problem!

That is exactly my problem. Cotton jeans used to fit me. I have nothing now that fits for the whole day. They fit out of the wash, but stretch 'till they are falling off my hips in an hour or two. Yuck!

I'll second the Silver Sukis. I have a couple pairs of Maurice's Kaley's as well. Those are only $40 and the most comfortable jeans I've ever owned. I get compliments on them even after wearing then all day.

I've recently had good luck with SO brand from Kohl's. I had a coupon and ended up getting 2 pairs for a little over $30. They are stretchy but they are as snug when I take them off as when I put them on. It's great! I bought the regular length (I'm 5'3") and they are pretty long, I can only wear them with heals unless I want to get them altered.

not your daughters jeans are nice, but pricey. You can find them at Nordstrom rack if that is available in your area.
