Hi there,

There is a chance that I will be able to pop over to DLRP for a couple of days in February (15/16). DH has to help open the Star Wars exhibit in Brussels so I thought I could travel down with him and then go on to DLRP.

Can anyone tell me about the new (non-disney) hotels near DLRP? Although I would love to stay on site, the prices I'm getting quoted are pretty steep 'cause I'll not be sharing with anyone. I'm especially interested in how easy they are to get to/from from the park. As last time we went in Feb it was pretty cold and damp so I don't really want to have to wait hours for a bus ;)

Thanks!

ps. Now if it was WDW I'd have everything sorted in no time.. but DLRP :confused3

The Ibis at Val d' europe is pretty useful. It's cheapish (69€ a night) and is located next to the RER station (val d' europe) which is 2 minutes on the train to Disney.

The hotel only opened this year so it's very clean. It's also useful for visiting the designer outlet shops at Val d'europe.

You can book on their website: http://www.ibishotel.com/ibis/fichehotel/gb/ibi/5646/fiche_hotel.shtml

Have you tried the Expedia website? They sell Disney onsite hotel rooms, without park tickets, and the prices are sometimes very reasonable on there, for the Santa Fe or the Cheyenne.

The partner hotels - Castle, Holiday Inn, Kyriad and Explorer are all served by frequent shuttle buses. Time to the park 10/15 minutes :)

You'll find details in the hotel faq :goodvibes

We have had good prices booking direct on the Holiday Inn website :)
