Here's so far:

Biergarten
Chefs De France
Via Napoli
Boathouse
The new restaurant on top of Tower at Coronado Springs (we are staying in Tower, first time at CS) (after MK 9 pm close)
another Disney Springs???
one near or at Animal Kingdom???
and then two more!!!

Boathouse was really the only signature we planned on, but we can be swayed. Not really wanting Italian (eat all the time at home).

Go!!!

Not sure on your family specifics, dining plan or not but...
Boma is a great dinner buffet
DS- Ragland Road or Homecomin

Ca Grill for brunch- signature or for dinner ( we prefer brunch)

2 adults. We do have the dining plan - I said we wouldn't, but we changed resorts, had a bunch of extra money, it has alcohol, I pressed a button, now we have it ;).

I was thinking Boma for one of our AK nights - do you know if we can do a later seating, around 8:30 ish?

Homecomin also looks great...

We love Homecomin- and Boma- usually go to both every trip
Looks like Boma takes dinner ADRS until 930 so you should be fine

AKL-Jiko at Jambo House or Sanaa at Kidani Village.

DS-Raglan Road

Thanks guys! Lot's of choices for AK - we've done Jiko, but either Boma or Sanaa sounds good.

Tiffins I hadn't thought about, will look at menu.

I know a lot of people love Raglan Road but Irish Pub food isn't really what I enjoy, but thanks for suggestions!

I have seen some great reviews on social media of the new restaurant out in the lake at Coronado - Three Bridges. Seems like a really nice setting to hang out and the food looks awesome. Not sure if they take ADRs or take the dining plan, but it looks like a great spot especially since you’re staying there.

And wait ... did you switch resorts??

:rotfl: Oh yes, the drama! So we weren't supposed to be going back to Disney this soon (long story) and didn't save for as long as we normally would. Yacht Club was over $600 a night and we're staying 9 nights. By the time we paid for that, tickets, airfare and food we would be feeling the pain.
We looked at the new Tower renderings at Coronado and all the new offerings and then saw the price for a water view in the Tower was almost $300 less a night- we decided to stay there, do the dining plan and now we have so much vacation money leftover that we can do any parties or Disney After Dark hours we want.

We'll be back at Yacht/Beach for 2023 though!

I won't lie, I'm nervous, but everyone should try something totally new at times, right? It just would have been a bad financial decision for us. Disney should be fun, not make me feel guilty. :)

I'm not a pub food fan either, but trust me on this, they are quite different in many ways. If you will be visiting over a Sunday, the RR sunday brunch is awesome. RR is now one of my fave restaurants in all of Disney.

That’s great! It’ll be fun to try someplace new and different. I think that’s a smart decision.

We’re doing the dining plan for the first time on our next visit. Normally we don’t do TS every day and right now I’m having so much fun thinking of the possibilities! :)

Very persuasive! I will look at the menu.

Honestly, Bosthouse is the last signature I would spend credits on. Went last February, and found it just OK to Big Nope. OK food, loud and crowded seating, non existent service (our waiter apparently left his shift shortly after taking our drink/app order, and others were chipping in…but we had to flag them down to help us get things like taking our entree orders, more drinks and dessert). If it were a one credit meal and I were on the dining plan, sure, I’d try it again. But as my only two credit meal ? Not a chance. I’m actually kind of shocked to realize that it’s considered a signature given our entire experience, from check in (chaos) to needing to literally stand at my seat flagging down someone to get our check at the end of the night (about 30 minutes after our dessert had finally been served and eaten). And even had the service been stellar, the food just did not come anywhere close to what a signature should be IMO.

That rant over, I would seriously consider Tiffins in AK. Fantastic food, service, and ambience all around. Awesome experience. I would suggest Raglan Road at Disney springs, but you’re not into that.

As far as a late night post-Magic Kingdom meal, we did BOG during their last seating in February. The meal was good, not great (but better than Boathouse). We were not rushed, and the best part was walking through MK when the park was closed but not closed because restaurants were just ending service. We got great photos, and it was truly magical to stand on Main Street as they played the official “now we’re really closed” music. If BOG isn’t your thing, I would try to get the last sitting at any TS in MK just to experience being there in that sweet hour between the rides in MK closing and the park closing officially.

@Disneyfan754321 T-Rex - it looks cute, I would have to think about that, it's just us two big kids. :)

@rosiebean Wow! Sounds like an awful experience at Boathouse! We had reservations last trip, but two of us were sick and missed it. The rest of my group went and they actually really liked it. I want to try that burger! I know it's 2 credits, but we've done most of the signatures already and not dying to get back to any of them. We'll pay out of pocket for Via Napoli to make up for it. :) I still plan to look into Tiffins though. Maybe instead of BOG we can do Skipper Canteen for a late seating, hmm....

Here are our 9 for our trip in July.
1. Sunshine Seasons. We always do a CS for our first dinner just in case we are late.
2. Wine Bar George. In our opinion the best single credit restaurant on property.
3. Akershus. We have to do one character meal with our 7 year old daughter.
4. Shulas or Tokyo Dining. Not sure yet if we want to spend more on a romantic dinner at Shulas or just have some sushi and a nice walk around WS. Our daughter is doing the pirate adventure this night so it is just the two of us for dinner and will be our only OOP meal.
5. Raglan Road. My wife has been asking to go there for years and I finally gave in.
6. Columbia Harbor House. We are doing the CG brunch this day so just a CS for dinner.
7. Mama Melrose. This is part of the Fantasmic Dining Package.
8. Boma. We have to get to AKL atleast once per trip.
9. Flying Fish. We stay at BW so it is a nice sit down before our last walk around WS and our final viewing of Illuminations.

Hopefully this will be helpful to explain our thinking for our 9 days worth of meals each summer.

@jsbowl16 Very helpful!

Now we are actually thinking Yachtsman instead of Boathouse because I want prime rib. :)
Now maybe an Italian place at Disney Springs - but Wine Bar George, how does dining plan work there? I was confused looking at menu.
We are also thinking of adding Nine Dragons - thoughts? I just don't see anything on Chefs De France menu that I actually want.

Good sit down place for a burger? Resorts, parks, doesn't matter, just not quick service.

I believe you can put two credits together (combine—not two from each person) to get a family style platter. Another option is two small plates per person. You would still get beverage and dessert.

Two small plates per person is great, thanks!
