My Dilemma- traveling to FL (not WDW :( ) in 2 wks for small company xmas party and to work with boss & coworkers. They are doing a 15 and under grab bag, and since I live in NY, they picked my "secret pal" for me- my boss! Gifts are encouraged to be funny, so my idea of just buying him a Nemo dvd would be a cop-out. I need ideas, from all you funny DIS'ers. BTW, please remember the item(s) needs to fit securly in my luggage. My boss is married with two kids and one on the way, just bought a motorcycle, is big into karate, golf, and physical fitness, and has a great sense of humor (although his humor can be brassy). So, what do you get to put a smile on the face of a guy who has everything? Help....
TIA!

Sounds fun!

Let's see.. Can you get to a nearby Spencer's Gifts stores or any of those places that sell tacky knick knacks and get candy pills with funny "medication" names? I recall "Dam-it-All" as one of them that really made me laugh one time... Good for bosses

Another funny one is to go to the toy store and get those little, plastic hand clappers... for when he needs encouragement, go to Wal-mart's camping section and get a compass for "direction in his life" or just finding his way out of the parking lot...

Another fun idea (but you make it though) is to get a dartboard and along the slices place funny labels reading "Fire someone for the heck of it", "Just sign it", "Reject it", etc, with a note for him to use when undecided or not busy enough.. I did it to mine and it turned out real funny.

A Disney themed one... Well... Epcot's japan and China stores always seem to have the cutest, funniest knick knacks and games. My kids love those stores because of that.

My boss can be very funny so I will get him this little cow for under $7, saw it online somewhere... You pet her head and she "poops" out chocolate and coffee jelly beans... cute....

for my husband's family exchange. I bought a change bank shaped like a toliet that made a flushing noise when you put your change in it - gave that to his corporate lawyer BIL (he loved it). We went to Spencers, but you can check out this place:

Thay have some funny stuff, and you can just order online. I like the Excuse Ball keyring - classic.

Good luck!!!

A store near me has tons of joke, gag gift material... try any local 'fun" store... or an "adult" store has some interesting items as well..

Check ebay as well. .. there are a lot of gag gifts out there.

The store near me has tons of things like the toilet paper with no tears, a "Pooping" Santa Clause (green and red jellybeans), the usual gag gifts like fake barf, or dog turd..plus the hilarious growing things... (things like the incredbile growing boyfriend, boss, etc..).. thise things are packed foam and you put it in water, and it grows...

We do gag gifts for all of our employees every Christmas. We did some hair sprigs w/ suction cups for a bald employee.(so funny!but make sure they aren't sensitive about it)We gave another employee some very very thick magnified glasses the ones where your eyes get really large(he was having trouble reading a tape measure and wouldn't fess' up to needing glasses)We gave a kids memory game to another guy(self expanatory)

We try to recall a particular funny event that happened and go from there. I would recommend a store like spencers. You'll get lots of ideas just walking around the store.

As a boss I once received a bull whip and another time I received one of those airhorns. My DH once gave me a set of kids play swords(???) My own "Boss only parking" sign "all violators will be fired!" (hate it when someone parks in my spot!) it was all in good fun and it's my favorite part of the Christmas party. Have fun and good luck

Why not get him something from Dilbert? Like something with the pointy-haired boss on it? How much do you like your job? ;)

how about an "8" ball that answers your questions you ask it.
I once saw an "executive box" that did the same thing.
