Necessity of Fantasmic! package October 21?

We had decided to just avoid TS at DHS because none of the restaurants sounded good, but now I wonder if I would enjoy not having to stand in the Fantasmic line enough to pay for dinner at Mama Melrose?

October seems like not a very busy time, but with free dining likely coming eventually....

Even with a F! dining package, there is still a line to wait in. You will just be in a specific area of the seating (on the right side) for F! dining packages. Also, unless free dining is extended this year, the free dining ends in late September (that's when it ended in years past).

I got off the phone about an hour ago with dining res. for that exact date. There was NOTHING available for Oct 21st dinner at Mama Melrose for Fantasmic! NOTHING!! We had to take a lunch instead I really wanted the Penne a la vodka It's not on the lunch menu. So if you get a reservation for dinner, LEMME KNOW!!! I'm going to try calling again in a few weeks.

Free dining aside which another commented isn't in October, I too just hate having to wait in line to see Fantasmic! But I love the show so I would if I had to. But if I could avoid it, I sure would. So no matter if MM, H&V or BD I like having the pass into fantasmic.

So keep trying & who knows, maybe you'll get lucky. If not, consider going super early but carry in your own CS meal & eat in the stadium while you wait. Have a great time!

I made my ressies for the Oct 18th Fantasmic at the H & V. I've never been able to see the show so I figured we have to eat, why not enjoy the show after we eat?!?

We did the H &V fantasmic package two years ago. I was really worried since I kept reading bad reviews on the H & V. It really wasn't that bad. It was standard buffet. But to get into Fantasmic and not have wait was awesome.
