Neat sky/cloud photo

Usually when I'm walking the dog, I'll see the beautiful leaves on a tree and say "boy, I wish I had my camera with me." This morning, DH came with me and I figured since I had help with our dog, I'd bring my camera along. Unfortunately, the sum was being lazy, so my leaf photos turned out so-so. But I managed to get this neat shot of the sun peeking thru the trees and lighting up the clouds:

I really like these pics! The colors in the trees is great. I like when the sun comes through the trees, but I have never really caught the photo the way I wanted when I see that. The clouds are nice too! I like how the sun is just barely peeking through the trees.

I had a great cloud phenomenon today here in my neck of the woods. It seems like there was a front moving through and it caused a beautiful straight line of clouds across the entire sky. I wish I had my S2 with me because I could have made a real nice panoramic pic with it. Not so good at it with stitching pics from the 30D. The things in the sky are kites from kiteboarders, not huge birds!

Hey Andy,

It's actually Wishes2you here. I am visiting my sister. Cool Pictures. You should see the crazy clouds and beautiful rainbow that Felicia and I saw earlier today on our way here. Felicia had to take the pictures because I was driving on the highway with no where to pull over. My sister said we will post them tomorrow.

I have only seen this once, many years ago and I got a pic then too but it was with my p&s film camera and I only got one shot. I was determined to get MANY this time, and I did not disappoint myself.

What are you doing at Dismom's house? Michaels grand opening is today! We already went, of course. I should have stayed home and watched the Pats beat up on Miami

Woah! That looks like it was a nasty storm coming in! I think Felicia did a graet job capturing it! I especially like the first pic where the clouds look nasty but you can see in the side mirror of the car that it wasn't that bad behind the car! Nice artistic eye there Felicia!

The rainbow pics are superb. What a great, bright one, huh? I haven't gotten one like that, ever. Shoot, I haven't even seen one that nice in years. When I was a "kid", there was a nice one over tomorrowland in WDW. I tried to get good photos of it but failed. They were pretty bad.

Anyways, great photos!

Thank you Sis for posting those for me. I thought Felicia did a great job
taking pictures while I was driving. Photographer in training. The bad part is that she will want to use my camera more. The good part is I can use the excuse that I need a new camera at some point so I can hand down the camera I have now to her.

Shhhh, He isn't paying any attention to me here. He doesn't know this yet. It was just a thought I need some time for this one. It's only a year old and a little much to give a 14 year old. In time. I'll have to work on it. So shhhh for now. Sound like a good thought though doesn't it.

I got a quick shot of the straight edge clouds on saturday too. They were pretty cool looking. I did not see the rainbow though. But I did see a circus!!
