I just joined the DIS and I went with Nite0wl71 (my mom) on Saturday to the Chicago DIS meet and I met Dan there, he is a good guy and loves to take pictures.

I've always thought it would be cool to meet Dan. If I'm ever up that way when a DIS meet is going on you can bet I'd stop and see all the Chicago DISers. They seem like a fun bunch.

Keli, that Dan Murphy is a man on the move. You can never tell when he's going to be in a city near you.

He met us in Atlanta last night. We used to get DIS visitors together to meet one another in lots of different places. I've been to St. Louis, North Arkansas, WDW, Atlanta, and a cruise the the Carribbean with DISers...it can be quite an interesting experience.

I enjoyed meeting Mom2Angels last night as well. What a great family--with three beautiful girls. I wished we'd been able to spend more time getting to know one another!

Yep, I met him tonight at our Monday night Atlanta meet, and I must agree...a very, very nice man. We had a ball tonight and hope we get to do again in the near future.

I agree, a very nice man indeed. I had the pleasure of meeting him last December at Disney World.

Yep, he is terrifically nice. Met Dan last Nov in WDW...got to ride TTA (People Mover) with him and Ray Sharpton. Thoroughly enjoyed myself. Missed Dan at the Boston meet over the summer...I had to be in WDW when Dan was in Boston, but he'll be at WDW in Dec the same time a lot of us are there, so we'll get to say hi again!!

First time I met Dan was at the big Philly DIS meet in Feb 2000 (can't be almost 6 yrs ago!! ). We met up in Dec. 02 in WDW and now are planning to have dinner/see fireworks with him on Dec. 4th this year! He is really a sweet man. My kids even call him "Uncle Dan". Seeing how the kids virtually grew up on the DIS, seems fitting to me.
