Nearly 4,000 people are signed into VMK right now.

I know many players have decided to just quit now as what is there truly to gain by playing for just a month? Why work for credits or trade just to have it go away on May 21, 2008? I am still going to play until VMK closes, but it is probably easier and better to leave before as you can get to different games and get VMK off your mind instead of just being locked out one day.

Possible reasons..
1. People quit since they believe there is no point anymore..
2. More people got banned for breaking rules, they just don't care anymore.
3. Not at VMK's peak time.

Well, given that it is a Saturday morning, I'd think it should be low.

But take a step back and look at that number.

4,000 live human bodies are sitting in front of their computers playing a virtual game that is ending in over a month.

Just ammo for the cannons.

4. I doubt many peole log their clones, minions, etc. on anymore.

7,000 people are usually logged in at the maximum on weekends (nights).

Yeah, I"m not logging in my clones unless I want to transfer something to Pirate_Apples. Normally, I would log them all on for quests and SITS and host events. But I don't want to take up more than one spot in Host rooms anymore.

It's less people, period. In my house, on a Saturday morning, they would usually be at least two of us playing. Not today....
