Hi all,
I will apologize in advance for not having pictures (digital camera broke, still working on DH to let me get one now instead of closer to the trip), but I am nearly finished with the autograph books that I am making for my kids for our trip in the end of April beginning of May.
I am using CM 7x7 albums, the Mickey one for my son, and the blush pink color for my daughter. I am using a combination of CM snap packs, EK Success stickers, and a couple of my own ideas. We have at this point in time, 5 character meals planned, and will add a 6th if they do start one up in MGM with the Toy Story guys. DS does not want the Princesses in his book, so they have been left out.
In DS' book I have so far: title page, Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Pluto, Chip/Dale, Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, Piglet, Woody, Buzz, Jesse, Jungle Book themed, and Pinnochio.
In DD' book I have: title page, Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Pluto, Chip/Dale, Ariel, Belle, Cinderella, Jasmine, and Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Mary Poppins, Pocahantas, Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, Piglet, Woody, Buzz, and Jesse. I still need to do Mulan--waiting for stickers to come in.
In retrospect at this time I wished I would have not completed the jungle book or Pinnochio pages for my son's book and left them out until after we go and see what other autographs we get. We will be at Crystal Palace, Chef Mickey's, LTT, PSB, and CRT for our character meals so DD will only need her book for thoses places, with the except of Pocahantas, and maybe Woody, Buzz, and Jesse. DS will need to have his book for the Jungle book page, and the Pinnochio page, plus the Toy Story guys, unless they come out with the meal by then.
It was amazing how fast I could go once I started to come up with ideas. Only a few of the pages are true snap pack ideas, the rest I managed to come up with. Jesse was the hardest, and for her I took a 1 1/2 inch wide piece of bright yellow running down the out edges of the pages (vertically) with a 1 inch stripe of white in the middle of the yellow, with random size pieces of black to look like a cow pattern on top of the white. I them put on one side in Yellow letters "Ride'em Cowgirl". The only think that I hope does not become a problem with the books is that I have a space 3x4 for the characters to sign on. Chip/Dale have a space for the two of them that is 4x4.
I promise once I get a new camera I will post pictures,
Barb
