Nearest store

This may be a silly question, but has anyone taken a taxi from a resort to a store for supplies? I know taxis are usually parked at the resorts but is it difficult to get one backto the resort? What is the nearest all purpose store?

Taxis are always at the resort; if one is not right there, guest services will call one and it will magically appear.

You can go to google and find the nearest "store" based on what you are looking for.

I was thinking about doing this. I have a post on the transportation board about taking a taxi from AKL to Super Target.

Sounds like round trip would be under $20, they'll wait for you while you shop. Cheaper than a taxi from the airport, on par with wegoshop & garden Grocer fees.
