Adam Vinatieri!!!!!!!!

The company I work for has hired Adam to do a couple of radio commercials for us before and after the Pats games mostly on WBCN. (We are NOT the furniture company). Well, this morning was our big annual pre-holiday kickoff breakfast and awards ceremony. Well, at the end of the 'State of the Company' address, our President replayed the audio of the winning field goal at the Super Bowl, and then in walked ADAM!

What a nice, unassuming guy. He spoke to us a little bit, answered some questions, and hung around and helped hand out awards. (I got to shake his hand!!!!) He is awfully cute too!

It was pretty cool

This is embarrassing but I have no idea who he is...so I did a google search and found out he's a football player

How cool. I'm sure that he is suprised and delighted by all of this attention. Kicker's are not usually the center of attention except when they lose the game and then only for a minute.

On the field, Adam looks kind of small. But when you see him in those furniture commercials, woo hoo, look at those arms and shoulders!!!! (I'm an "arms" woman ) I think he only looks small on the field in comparison to the other huge guys! He definitely doesn't look small out of his uniform!

I'm glad he's a nice guy, he "looks" like a nice guy, if that makes sense!!! Did you get an autograph for your son?? (or for yourself?? LOL)

From what I have seen of Adam, he seems like a pretty nice guy. Not to conceited (as most are) and very respectable.

I run into him a lot, as well as several other of the Pats. He's a really nice guy

I just found out that Tom Brady might buy the house 2houses down from my parents' best friends.

Sharbear, you are so right, he actually told a funny story, about how Bill Parcells was his head coach his rookie year, and 'Coach Parcells doesn't really like Rookies, and he doesn't really like kickers, so it was tough" lol

No autographs, although the did have a drawing of all 800 of us in this region for jackets, shirts, and autographed footballs.

I have had the pleasure of dealing with Nomar Garciaparra on several occasions for work, he is another star athlete who is unassuming, quiet, polite, and just nice. It is really good to see that Adam is as well. When they opened up the Q&A with him, the first person to stand got up and basically said what a pleasure it was for him as a fan to watch Adam do something that he is so obviously blessed to be able to do, and really enjoy it. I think he (Adam V.) was legitimately embarressed by it.

It was nice. And, oh, did I mention, I got to shake his hand, and he is a CUTIE PIE
