Would like to try one of these restaurants for dinner while in Universal this October. my boys (16/20) are basketball fans and would probably enjoy the gift shop at NBA city....my BFF is a big NASCAR fan, which would you chose for a great dinner? NBA CITY or NASCAR CAFE?

We like the food at NBA a little bit better than Nascar.

I haven't had a chance to post a review yet but the NBA cafe is the WORST restaurant on Citywalk (IMHO).

Overpriced, overseasoned food. Fruitflies, limited menu and unhappy staff.

We ordered:

5 X 5 appetizer. Overpriced and overseasoned with cajun spice.
Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. Steakum meat on a grocery store hero bun.
2 kids meals. chicken nuggets and pasta. I have never been to a restaurant where my kids didn't eat their meals...until now.

It is always a red flag to me when a restaurant doesn't put prices on the menu. I had to ask about the price of the appetizer and my pint of beer.

Huge fan of the NASCAR Cafe and I cant stand NASCAR. Love the menu (which was recetly updated) and its pretty reasonably priced.

NBA City over NASCAR for our family.

We prefer Nascar over NBA and we're not really fans of either sport. The service was faster, the food was better, and the prices were lower at Nascar for us.

We like the Nascar Cafe but it looks like all of these different opinions isn't helping you much. If you choose the Nascar Cafe, keep it simple by just getting sandwiches or such things. In fact, I'd do the same at NBA City.

2nd this we ate at both and the food at nascar beats nba hands down menu seems better also one of the best ribs i had on hols

We waited ages in Nascar for our meal and the place was practically empty, food wasn`t great when it finally arrived so we wouldn`t rush back there.

We went to NBA on our last night this trip and it was fine. Some things weren`t great but it may have been more us than the place, as we were a bit down because we were leaving the next day. My son had mac n cheese and it was very dry, so not the best. Our food was just ok, but we usually have very good there.

So out of those two places NBA.

LOVE Nbacity!! on our last trip a few weeks ago we ate there twice.

food has always been great- love their wings and our son loves the burgers.

we thought the staff was amazing- the best we have seen on Citywalk.

hi Mac!!:wave2:

i sure do miss talking to you!

been crazy around here lately(more than usual!)

NASCAR seems to have faster service. Last time, I was at NBA City, we waited 30 minutes for apps and had to let the server know that we were kind of in a hurry. Then the entrees came out quickly after that. Sadly, the restaurant was fairly empty. So, I would totally go with NASCAR.
