Do you get the navigator the night before??? I am just wondering how you plan your day???

Is it possible to get it before you even cruise for the lenght of your cruise....???

I am a compulsive planner and need to know these things....lol :teeth:

Thanks

You'll get the first day's when you check in at the terminal. After that, they are delivered the night before for the next day. The kids clubs actually just have one that covers the entire cruise. I'm like you, a compulsive planner. I thought I would have a major problem with not having everything planned out before we left. I surprised myself though and actually enjoyed relaxing and being spontaneous. We made reading the Navigator part of our morning ritual. We'd sit down at the breakfast table, with a highlighter and decide on what we wanted to do that day.

You can always get a heads up by visiting Dave's site, www.dcltribute.com . He has some past Navigators posted and links to other sites with even more Navigators. Because weather and sea conditions could change itineraries, I don't think that DCL will give them out before hand.

Dave's site as mentioned above is a good source to check, but I don't think it has been updated real recently. Use a highlighter to outline the "must do" things and see if you can get to them the next day. We had to learn that you can't do everything ... so pace yourself and plan another cruise. :teeth: pirate:

great everyone.....thank you.... I am going to try to go with the flow but there are certain activties I have read about that I want to make sure we dont miss.

Thanks again for the info.

Is it possible to find out what nights are the Formal / semi formal nights ahead of time ? I'm looking for info on the May 20 - repo cruise.
Thanks

Are you wanting it because you will be on the repo cruise in August. You should be able to find a repo navigator out there.

If this is a repo cruise, allearsnet.com has the navigators from end of may/early june.

Take your valium and calm down :rolleyes1 . You can't do it all. You can't get the schedule for the whole week. You won't know what's happening on what day / night.

You can look at navigators for prior sailings of your cruise (eastern or western) to give you an idea of what activities are offered. Gotta remember that EVERYTHING is subject to change (beforehand or on a moments notice).

You know the way it always works out for us is that the things we really, Really, REALLY want to do (by looking at the navigators posted around the 'net) usually end up on the same day and time that we have to make some very hard choices (of what NOT to do).

Like I've already said, at best it's going to give you an idea of what is going to be offered on our August Repo cruise (6 weeks and counting :cool1:  :cool1: ) I'm NOT counting on the Formal, Semi Formal and Pirates nights being on the same nights / places as on the gunea pig repo (May)

You get the kid's navigator at the beginning of the cruise for the entire week. You get the general Navigator in your room each night. You will also get TV and movie schedules on the first day as well as an "overview" of the cruise.

The online samples are helpful, but things do change from one cruise to the next. Hints--NO WAY you can do it all. Relax and have fun.

I make the kiddos choose one activity that they want to attend each day. That way, I know I have some adult time and that they are at least getting into their program. Usually they make friends and really want to be there, but occasionally I have a "I want to hang with mom" issue--I still insist on one program per day in the programming.

Sigh...at least I'm not alone :teeth: I too have been wrestling with this one. I still have my little set of index cards from my last WDW trip (Thanks to Touringplans.com :cheer2: )

I can't plan it all out? Breathe....Breathe...Breathe
