I just booked a fall cruise on Navigator of the seas. I am wondering if there are any organized activities offered to toddlers and parents together. On the wonder there were open house activities and toddler play times when we could hang out in the kids club with our son. We had a good time at these events so I'm hoping there is something similar on NOS. I see that there used to be fisher price play groups, but that the partnership between rccl and fisher price has recently been dissolved. Does this mean the play groups are gone too?

Have you checked out the Cruise Critic boards? My kids were 11 & 13 their first cruise, so I can't address your issue.

Did you get an answer? We're trying to decide between Carnival and RC. My brother might be joining us and he will have a baby and a two year old.

Just got back.

They had an art time and a music time for the little ones, but the "teacher" didn't do anything with the kids. She just got the supplies out and left it up to the parents. We had fun anyway.

The nursery staff was great and DS had fun the two times we left him. He does not go to daycare, and can be clingy but he was happy to go play.

The pool area does not have a spray ground. Since DS is potty trained we were able to use the pools though. They had a bit of one of the main pools sectioned off for the little ones. It was maybe 6 inches deep. He had a blast in there. He also liked to sit in the "hot water" aka the hot tub.

The shows weren't family friendly. They were good, but not for kids.

They did show two kid movies by the pool on two different evenings. On our cruise it was Maleficent and Toy Story 3. DS thought it was cool to watch a movie while swimming.

They had ice skates as small as a toddler size 9. DS (2) had a good time being pulled around, but I don't recommend trying this unless you are a decent skater.

They had toys set out in the "teen disco" area from 9-5 each day for the infant-3 set. We used that a couple if times.

The staff all treated DS like royalty and he had a great time being pampered.

All in all we had fun. It wasn't as magical as dcl and didn't cater to the kids as well, but it was fine.

Thanks for the update! We are going at the end of the month with my almost 5 year old twins. We have been on 4 Disney cruises so the bar is set pretty high. I hope we have a pleaseant experience like you did.
