I’m looking for feedback and opinions on after-market navigational systems. My dad is looking to get my mom one for her birthday, and the only one I’ve seen in action is the I-Way 500 (Lowrance)….. I was impressed, but I only have like a one time (I was a passenger) experience. If you have one, what do you have, and what do you love about, and what would you change. We, of course, would like to get the best bang for our buck….. my mom owns her own business, and travels to client homes – this would be it’s primary use.

Does anyone know what the difference is between the I-Way 500 and the I-Way 350??

TIA

Sorry, can't help you out. Ours is factory installed (GM). I only use it when we are lost - but it's worked great so far.

Be careful of the type you buy - I just read an article that said navigation systems are the most stolen item from vehicles. I guess you should look for one that's easy to remove from the vehicle.

Mine is factory installed also. I love it as I am always lost. I still get lost even with it, but that's because I don't always follow directions well :teeth:
