Hey, I rebooked my National Rental again, ( second time) and saved an additional $40, so now I am down to $290 for 15 days. Feeling good about this one, now if I only had booked Jet blue when it was $79 each way last week......
Emerald Aisle, BJs coupon and NF20 code. $base rate $105 per week plus taxes and surcharges. Oh, those charges they add on are ridiculous

Yes, the charges are ridiculous, BUT, they are not as bad as other places.
This is not to minimize what you said, but just a FYI. Try running your dates at JFK or BDL. That will make you feel like you are getting a bargain.

It happens all the time, it is called supply and demand. For some it is great others, well, not so good.
