Any Emerald Club members rented a car at MCO recently? If so, what size vehicles have you seen available? Pre-Covid there used to be mini vans regularly available. I haven't seen mini vans at any of the Emerald Aisles at any of the airports we have been to since Covid. Plenty of regular of sized cars though. So it seems like National is doing better than others.

When we went to WDW last September I had to specifically book an Emerald reservation for a mini van instead of just selecting from the aisle. We have less people on our upcoming trip. While a mini van would be ideal again, a mid size SUV would do the job. Wondering if I should just go ahead and spend the extra money for the mini van or take the chances on mid size SUV.

I was there in October and got a Chevy Traverse off the aisle. There were a number of Nissan Rogues, a Toyota 4Runner, Nissan Kick, a Kia Soul and one Nissan Armada for SUV's. They had one Dodge RAM Quad Cab and a number of mid and full size cars. No minivans. I was told on another site that was normal, minivans go out as soon as they get put on the aisle.

Thanks for the info. I think any of the SUVs would probably work for us. Might be a tight squeeze and some luggage on laps, but we can make do.

We were also there in October and saw no minivans. They were bringing out new cars one after another. We ended up taking a RAV4.

Got there late in the evening in mid-Nov and it was almost all sedans, but there was one smaller Jeep SUV with less than 3k miles but that was it. The Jeep as my wife's choice and since it was in the low 60s and raining, we didn't notice until the next day that in the sun it smelled of smoke. I was less than impressed with the choice but given the state of the car rental industry, it was about what I expected
