I went to a 12:01am showing of National Treasure - Book of Secrets this morning. I really enjoyed this movie and it does a pretty good job as a sequel. I will not give any spoliers away at all. The only thing that I didnt get is that somethings happened in the movie and yet there were not explained just kinda glossed over.

So the ONLY complaint about the movie is that I think they tried to put a little too much in the story and it didn't give all the detail it needed. I thought the 1st one did a great job of that!. But OVERALL I would reccomend going to see it, especially if you were a fan of the 1st one!

We are going tonight at 9:35 pm and can't wait!!! :thumbsup2

Some 'Secrets' I found

How to Hook Up Your Home Theater:
1: TV Brand is Dopey Digital
2: TV ID is M1C K3Y M0U SE
3: Goofy wears a Mickey Mouse Watch
4: Hidden Mickey on remote control

Book of Secrets:
1: I'm about 90% positive that the earrings Abigail wears a couple times in the movie are designed after the Aztec Gold of the first Pirates. Again, only about 90% sure as there weren't that many clear shots.

Overall, this movie kicked butt. Disney has done a GREAT job with their movies this year.

Liked it better than I expected to. The story logic is, um, less than impeccable (we had fun picking it apart at dinner last night) but as a fable it's entertaining and the audience (packed house) applauded at the end. I especially liked the relationship between Voight and Helen Mirren, which gave it snap.

Yep, the Goofy short was almost worth the price of admission by itself!! You missed the picture of Walt he knocked off the shelf to put up components or speakers (I forget which)

The movie rocked!!!

Hope the crowds thin out by the second week of January. We HATE being in a crowded theatre. You know, belly to back, except everybody is sitting down. and kicking the back of your seat, and screaming in your ear, and talking out loud, and talking on their cell phone. I could go on and on and on...........I'll just wait until January 10th. Kids back in school, etc., etc. ;)

Oooh, do you have a Monaco theater in your area?? We actually paid the extra $3 PP to be in their private over 21 theater. Nice!!! Smaller theater, extra huge cushy seats with little tables in between and could bring our drinks and appetizers into the theater. Well worth it!!!!

Wow, sounds cool! No, we do not have such a thing around here. Never heard of it, actually. So what would be the average cost for a ticket be at one of these places? :)

For National Treasure, it was $12 each vs. $9.00 each for the regular theater.

What about matinees, where the normal price in regular theatres is around $6.50?

So was the "Page 47" thing a set up for the next movie?! "National Treasure:Page 47":confused3

I also enjoyed the flick.. but thought they spent too much time on chase scenes and not enough time finding/solving/explaining.

Nicholas Cage is so much fun in this role, and Riley (don't know his real name) is adorable!!

My guess of page 47 is the fountain of youth. Anyhoo, the movie was entertaining, but I thought the first one was a little better.

My guess its the secret on how Cage keeps getting work, why people liked this movie or at worlds end. :confused3

i liked them because i liked them

just because

no particular reason

I also forgot, but Goofy had a signed picture of John Lasseter. (in the short)

Oh, and I liked this and AWE because they are the type of movies I like and I enjoyed them.

We saw the movie yesterday and it was OK. A bit far-fetched at points, but OK.
