national or alamo at wdw car care center

Has anyone ever rented from care care center at wdw? and last time we rented from national at the airport, they just let us go choose whatever car was on the lot (no matter what kind it was-we got a suv for car price). Do they do this all the time? What are your thoughts? We are staying at Orange Lake Resort and I wanted to rent from the Hertz that is right there on their property, but way too expensive...

Yes, I have rented from the CCC. You do not select your car, they assign it, but, will change it if it is not what you want. It is a small location.
