OK! So I am finally all caught up.. hehe I love all the disney stuff you bought. I really love the color of your mickey sweatshirt.. and I want a baggalini reallly bad. I wrote a note down by the computer after I seen that and my DH read it and said "bage-a-lini" I said "no bag-ga-lini- I want one!" hehe

I love buying the little travel size items, it always gets me to soo excited for the trip. hehe

Afternoon all!!! Well I have had a productive day off !! I filled in all the forms to get some money out of my work 403B which should make a Fall trip much more likely !!! Have to check the Bounceback offer !!!!I have my Mickey Mail and a nice zippered pouch from AAA !! Requested 1 more ME Tag and when it comes in she will do ONLINE check in for me !! So I am getting really excited !!! Got money out for spending in all the dominations I will need !! So now havw to put in envies and in my nice redpouch !!!

There is a cajun recipe web site I found. Here are 2 for an okra gumbo .....


This one you make your own Roux. But you can buy Roux in a jar. It's much easier for first timers to do it from a jar.

This one calls for tomatos. Where I'm from NOBODY puts tomatos in their gumbo!! Although this one doesn't say anything about celery, there are some parts of La where they put that in there too. Once again.....where I"m from NOBODY puts celery in their gumbo!!!

Basically you boil your Roux with water and seasonings. Put some veggies in there like white onions, green onions, even okra! And a meat or seafood of some sort. (chicken & sausage gumbo or shrimp & crab gumbo, etc.) Let it simmer and when the meats are done you serve it over rice "soup style".

Getting your new car just before you leave? I have visions of National Lampoon's Vacation - remember the Green "Roadster Wagon" or something - Clark Griswold picked it up the day before they left on vacation? Really, Blue, I hope you get it all worked out - that must be really frustrating.

Really?? They have it everywhere down here. Although, I think everyone should learn how to make it from scratch first!

I can't help it, I have to say it....... 2 WEEKS FROM TODAY WE WILL BE PASSING UNDER THAT BEAUTIFUL DISNEY ARCH!!!

Right now it is 11am Central which means it's 10am Eastern. At this moment 2 weeks from now we will have checked in to OKW and drive over to EPCOT. Right now we would be walking into Epcot!!!

A little update....after reading Jordan's PTR update yesterday I realized that WDW has changed some of the park hours. This means I had to print out all the new stuff and compare to my iteneraries. Luckily there aren't many changes. The biggest change would be Superbowl sunday. They have added another Fantasmic. Now there is one at 7pm and another one at 8:30pm. However, if the Saints are playing in the Superbowl NONE of that is going to matter anyway. We will find this out tomorrow since the Saints play the Vikings tomorrow!!!!


I am so excited and so ready for this trip. I let DS watch a video of the Dinosaur ride on youtube. He is still saying he wants to ride it even though he is "a little scared". I told him he can sit between me and DH. We'll see how he feels after the ride is over. This could be a turning point in his "ride life". It will be interesting to see how he feels afterward.

I think we are going to bring down the suitcases from the closets today. We have new stuff that can be put in there now since we aren't going to wear those items until our trip. It'll be fun to start putting things in there. Plus, I can put our new luggage tags on!

My Garden Grocer order will be made TONIGHT! I love making my GG order. It means my trip is REALLY CLOSE!

Ok, those are the thoughts that are swimming around in my head right now. I'm trying to get everything organized and will be making actual packing lists for each of us today before I start throwing stuff in the suitcases.

I've been going over our plans since the change in ours. I'm so glad a second Fantasmic was added!

Danielle is a Girl Scout camp this weekend. I haven't done any packing yet, it's too soon to pack clothes but I'm hoping to work on our list of other stuff to pack. 3 weeks from today we'll be checking in.

I'm so nervous about the Saints game tomorrow. We'll be glued to the set.

I still am not sure what we will be doing for the Superbowl game. Since it's at 6:30pm I'm going to venture to say that we will watch it in the room. But I feel like there is just too much energy to this game to sit in the room. So I still have no idea. There is a tiny bar by the pool at OKW. When I say tiny, I mean TEEENY TINY. I *think* they have a flat screen in there but I'm not sure. So that idea is pretty much out. You'd have to be inside the closet....er, I mean...bar to be able to see the TV and we have DS with us.
ESPN will probably be way too packed. I'm just not sure. Maybe I should start scouring other resort bar/pool areas.
