:cheer2::cheer2:THEY WON!!!!!!!!!! BIG TIME WIN TOO!!!!:cheer2::cheer2:

the Saints won yesterday and next week they play to see who goes to the super bowl

That's right!!!! And the Vikings beat the Cowboys!! So next week the Saints play the Vikings to see who will play in the SUPERBOWL!!!! Next week is the one, BABY!!! I"m freaking out!!:cheer2::yay::woohoo::banana:

I'm so ready for you too! I know that sounds silly, but it's been so much fun on y'alls PTR's, yours, Jordies, everyone's! I just can't wait for y'all to go and come back to tell us all about it!!! How long is your trip for again? Jordy's seems like it's a month long....which he needs! He works so hard, he needs the down time and rest. Sounds like you do too, work, being mom, room mom, wife, friend, all those things we do can more than wear a person out! So what's got ya feeling like the world is going crazy?
I know when our trip finally rolls around, I will be more than ready to get away and just have fun withtout thinking about the house, homeschool, errands, what have you. Then the craziness starts all over again as soon as we get home, I have my son's graduation to plan! What was I thinking! This means I'll have that much more stuff to do before I leave! Oh well, it will be worth it.
I can't wait for your trip and the fun you guys will have!! The next best thing besides going and planning a trip to WDW is......reading about someone else's trip!!! :cloud9:

You guys are funny to watch as you get closer, it makes me excited too! It's helping me get all geared up for my family trip! :yay:

Way to Go Saints!!!! :yay:
I bet Blue is thrilled!!

I am getting so excited too that the trip is getting close. I was able to have lunch with some good old friends Friday and then mine and DH's anniversary dinner was that night. It is just what the Dr. ordered. I feel so much better and will try my best to not get so stressed out again before the trip.

I am just EXTREMELY HAPPY about the Saints winning!! Next week will tell us if they go to the Superbowl. :cheer2:
Geaux Saints!

:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2: DID YOU SEE THAT??? IT WAS AN AMAZING GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!

::yes:: Alllllllll good! I grew up getting to eat all of this. My husband thinks it's nasty that I like to eat fried okra.

Never had a fried twinkie, you'd think living in Texas I would have had some sort of fried everything. Not the case, although I have tried fried pickles. Ehh! They're just OK. I think fried pickles is a southern thang! ;)

I also had fried green beans....so good. As Cherie said, everything is better fried.
Hmmm, I'm gonna have to try those. Where did you eat them? I think the only place I've ever seen them on the menu is the Cheese Cake Factory, since I don't eat there much I'll have to keep my eyes open for them else where.

I tried Okra for the first time when we lived in Texas. It was fried, of course! Last fall we went to a pumpkin patch and pick your own farm. It had rows of peppers and beans and ??? okra. I didn't recognize it, whole and on the plant!!!:lmao:

I tried fried twinkies and fried snickers in Vegas - Yuk! i say! So much fat on so much sugar made me sick. I tried fried okra in Texas - I thought it was okay, kind of like fried zuchinni. I do like french fries and bloomin' onions, though! :goodvibes Haven't tried the green beans or pickles - sounds interesting.

It's not so attractive on the plant, is it?  But sure is yummy when it's all loaded up with batter and fried!!! :thumbsup2 popcorn:: Mmmmmm.

I missed all the Saints talk. We are so pumped. Just one more game, I hope they can pull it off.

I love fried food. I haven't had fried twinkies or snickers but have had fried vegtables. I love fried pickles.

Fried Okra is good. I think the fried sweets are good I just can't eat more than a couple of bites because they are TOO sweet. .......Except for the funnel cake. :thumbsup2

:rotfl2: It's sort of a scary looking little veggie isn't it?

I had fried ochra at Cracker Barrell and loved it !!!

It's even better in gumbo!;)

I like the salty fried stuff better than some of the sweet stuff. Some of it is just too much.

And in Gumbo!! ;)

If I knew how to make funnel cakes myself I'd be in trouble!!

:thumbsup2 I love the fried veggies!

fried green tomatoes are addicting !! I agree the fried sweet stuff is good but a little goes a looong way!!I HAVE TO TRY FRIED PICKLES !!!

I love fried green tomatoes and fried okra too. I have had fried oreos and agree with Cherie it was good but after a couple of bites it was way too sweet. You keep saying okra is good in gumbo do you have a recipe for gumbo? That is something I have been wanting to make but I want a good recipe for it.

Ok, so I haven't done a "real" update about trip planning in a while so here we go.......

1st off...clothes!! I got my gray Mickey hoodie in from Sears. :woohoo: Remember the GREAT deal I got on that and a white Mickey T-shirt?? Well, I got an email and a refund on the t-shirt because they don't have any more. I hate when that happens. UPDATE THE WEB SITE!!!! Geesh.

Anyway, as many of you may know one of the other boards I visit is Enchanted. Scottny who was going to join us on this trip is the administrator over there. He graciously made me a "super moderator". I'm still not sure what all that means but it's fun to help out when I can. While I was doing some internet browsing I came across the perfect shirt to show my support for that board too....

Pretty cool, huh?

Moving on to.......TRAVEL SIZED ITEMS!!
As I said before, I only went to the travel aisle once to get just a FEW things since I haven't checked my toiletries bag yet. Well, the other day I got out my toiletries bag and started going through it. Look how much stuff is in there!!
4270449404_e33502f019.jpg

DH asked what I was doing. I said I'm looking to see what's expired so I can go buy more. He laughed at me and told me that stuff doesn't expire for years. Well rain on my parade why don't ya!! :rolleyes1 We both had to laugh when I started pulling out all of the mini bottles of laundry detergent. DH just shook his head when I showed him that I had just bought more of them on my "mini shopping trip". Once we put them together, this is what we have.....
4270448358_4a78d36ef2.jpg

That's right.....8 BOTTLES OF DETERGENT!!! But wait....each bottle is for 2 loads which means I now have enough for 16 LOADS!!! :scared1: I don't know about you but there is NO WAY that I'm doing 16 loads on my vacaton. :lmao:

And now.....THE MOST IMPORTANT UPDATE!!!
Today after a LOOONNNGG day of dealing with our local car dealership again. (long story short....we got a lemon! We are working on getting another car.) We arrive home and there is a large envelope on my front porch.

:woohoo:OUR DOCUMENTS ARE IN!!!!!:woohoo: We are official!!!! I thought I was looking excited in the picture but now I realize that I look like I'm trying to eat them. One cute thing about that picture is that DS took it all by himself. :thumbsup2

Last but not least.......
The things that I still need to do:
1. Make my Garden Grocer order. It's all in my shopping cart online, I just need to pay for it. That will happen on payday. :yay:
2. I already confirmed my ADR's so that's good!
3. I also need to finish up all my little projects for the school appreciation week and Valentine's day since we won't be here for that.
4. The main thing is making sure my yukon is in working enough order to get us to and from Orlando safely. That is a work in progress. Did I mention that this is my NEW yukon that is only 2 months old??
5. Start packing!!!! I plan on breaking out the suitcases this week.
6. Make an appointment for our dog Lucy at the vet for boarding.

Ok so who is ready for more past pic's??? This batch will be from our last WDW trip....February 2009! After I finish these, I will move on to our Disney Cruise this summer. :thumbsup2

At the welcome center after getting our usual free shot of OJ.

Okra gumbo is good!! Hmmmm, a recipe?? I learned pretty much like most here in Louisiana by throwing it in a pot. :rotfl2: I bet I could find you a good one online. Let me see..........
