National Emrald Aisle - Memorial day weekend choices?

Just wondering if we'll be unlucky Friday evening of Mem. day weekend for a nice CLEAN relatively new car choice on the EA..

I have ALWAYS had the pick of cars. NEVER had a bad one from national in Orlando. Unfortunately, this trip we'll be arriving @ 8:30 pm, whereas we usually arrive by 9am on most of our other trips...

Pretty much every time I have used NAtional in Orlando we have had a mini van, or suv taken right from the EA. They have also been pretty new too, with either just about 1,000 miles on them or even less! Last time the car still had the new car stickers on the inside!

I believe I can also pick from the Executive side as well, as we rent almost exclusively from national....But since it will be a busy weekend, and at night I'm wondering if this is the time we get a crappy car...

First, I recommend you check you Emerald Status on the Emerald Club website. I don't know how often your rent from National, but points are accumulated on yearly basis and do not carry over from year to year.

Second, all cars on the EA have less than 20k miles on them (sometimes one will slip through, but, not often). Heading into the last part of a model year will be tough to get a brand new vehicle, also, Memorial Day weekend is exceptionally busy, so, if you do need a specific vehicle, I would reserve one. It is highly unlikely you will receive a "crappy car", just cannot tell you anymore than you will receive a midsize or above or if you are EE, you will receive full size or above from the appropriate aisle.
