National/Emerald Club??????

Hi All,

Can someone please explain to me how this works?
I sign up, give my credit card info, license info, etc.

So when the time comes, I get off the plane, then what?

Is the total amount due charged to the CC on file? Can the CC be changed that day?
Is it put on the CC when the car is picked up?

If I used a coupon# from buena vista do I need to show them something?
What do I need to leave the lot?

Sorry for all the silly questions!
Any info would be a great help.

With Emerald Club, you go directly to National's designated Emerald Aisle (in Orlando right at the airport) and take a car from there (your choice), no stopping at the counter but will need to show drivers license and club card when you leave at the gate. It will be charged to your credit card in the system--you can change to another when you return (as that is when actual charge will be made) but to do so you may have to go to the counter (which is what you are trying to avoid). Coupon's must also be shown at pick-up to assure rate that goes into system includes coupon--note not all discount programs actually require coupons, it depends on the particular discount you are trying to get. If it is a coupon program, you will need it, if not, you won't but likely will need some other proof of entitlement to discount --for example, the general Disney Club discount on rentals requires the Disney Club Card, unless using one of its coupon programs (like for extra day free) when coupon is needed.

Thank you for your info, I re-read my post and I sound crazy, with all those questions.
I would have thought that on the web site there would have been more info on procedure.

Also in order to use the "Emerald Aisle" you need to rent a full size car or better.
