Thanks Gail and dudspizza for the help. Gail, I enjoy reading your knowledgable responses.
I have one other question. When I enter the data in for National (product rate code, contract ID, etc) the screen states that quick rent is not available for our rental--we're renting a minivan. Is there a way to get around this?

If memory serves, Quick Rent is only for reservations 30 days or less from your trip.
Is there a reason why you are not going through the regular screens? IE: Log in with your EC number, entering the contract code, coupon code, dates, etc.
If you give me your travel dates and time, I will try it for you when National's site comes back up.

If you use your Emerald Club membership, quick rent is not an option.

If you go through the normal screen, quick rent is an option, but only if you don't use a coupon. If you use a coupon, you have to go to the counter... again this is for NON Emerald Club members.

With Emerald Club, you go straight to the parking garage and give your coupon to the booth attendant with your Emerald Club card and your ID.
