National Closing Counter at Hess Car Care Center in WDW

We had ressies to pick up two cars from the WDW Car Care Center from National. Was checking only to find out I couldn't revise the ressie. Wrote internet online help to find out ... whoops ... they were closing the counter the first of January and only Alamo would be there. When I called National they said ... whoops ... Alamo will honor it. But, I found a diffrent rate, anyway. Just wanted to let everyone know as it came as a surprise to me.

I wonder how much longer National and Alamo will rent separately. They have been owned by the same company for some time, you would think they would merge into one.

Well once they are Alamo I am GONE! I am willing to pay for service and Alamo is not willing to provide service IMHO.

AT the CCC it is all the same counter, cars and personnel. Not a lot of difference at all.
I have found since they merged, since Vanguard bought them, the service of both has been going down hill rapidly.

Thanks for the warning. I have not used CCC in years. I have sworn off the Dolphin location for this very reason. National is close to losing a customer who has spent a lot of money in the past......

I hear that. I have switched to Avis Preferred because of the customer service, dirty cars and I don't need to talk to India to ask a question with Avis. The day they started outsourcing, was the crowning glory on ending the use of Alamo/National.
