Hi all,
I finally got around to calling National's 800 # to have ressies checked for a better price than the website. The person helping found one (save over $30) but entered the wrong times. I didn't know this until I went to the website to check it. I had also cancelled my other great rate. I called back and they said there's nothing they could do (new rate for correct times/dates would be $40 more than very first ressie that I cancelled). The lady I got was very understanding and we tried all kinds of options and "tricks" to get a really good rate again. We finally settled on doing a one day rental to pick up at the airport and drop off at WDW car care center for $24.80 (not too bad). Then did a second ressie for pick up at WDW car care center-same day and drop off at airport ($87.88). That ressie used the AAA discount and the $15 off coupon from mousesavers. All together my original ressie was for $134.88 the new ressies combined are $112.68! A savings of $22.20. WOO HOO! I think my lesson could be a lesson for all! Check first before cancelling any ressies to make sure they get them correct!

BTW...I'm traveling the first week in Feb. for anyone who was wondering. :)

I would like to know that too. Unless she used the "motor club" option, which no longer shows up, or maybe she used the AARP code.

Not to sure what exactly she used. I'm not sure if i'm supposed to put these but here it goes anyway. For the product code it was CAWE, the contract ID was 5007125 and i used the coupon found on mousesavers for $15 (vacation outlet). Hope this helps!

Thanks, the contract id is for Emerald Club members.

The lady I talked with also told me that the AAA, Sam's Club and the NEA discounts were all coming up the same.

works for me, but, I am still wondering about that AAA code since AAA here says they don't have one for National. But, not worth worrying about as I have a good rate right now. Thanks for the info.

I was able to use the code WWEB to get a good rate on a car. That combined with the vacation outlet coupon and code gave me a nice savings.
