National at Care Care Center

Anybody rent a car from the Care Care Center at Disney? How far in advance do you have to request a pick up? Does it take long? I am aware it is not like the airport where Emerald Club members don't get to pick from the isle but is the car selection decent?

I currently have a 9 day minivan rental w National for $326 dropping off at MCO airport. Used KLM code and $30 AARP coupon. Good thing I booked it a while back, as now there is a $250 drop off charge added on for new reservations. I am still hoping to find something cheaper as we get closer.

I could rent at the airport, but my rental would be 4 hours longer and $50 more for an extra day. I could stay with kids at pool and my husband can go and get the minivan.

I've used Alamo at the CCC, so I assume the pickup/dropoff is the same. You should call National at the CCC the day before you want to be picked up; let them know the time and resort for the pickup.

As far as car selection, they have quite a few cars, but I'm not sure whether you'll get to pick or not. The fleet should be the same for both Alamo and National there, so you might want to compare rates.

HI - I did a 1 day rental this past January when we went down for the marathon.I loved using the CCC - so close and convenient & free upgrade to boot!

The pick up van covers all the rental companies - just call - I think it takes 1/2 and hour and they will be outside your resort!

Even though it was marathon weekend, there was plenty of selection, and I was at the desk maybe 15 minutes tops.
