Did anyone else think that Aretha Franklin and Aaron Neville just murdered the national anthem? I thought it was horrible!!!

Glad I wasn't the only one.

One of the worst jobs of singing I've ever heard. The word "the" for example, was sung as "theeeee, woah, un-un, wooooo, eeeee!" Good grief. Why can't performers sing the song the way it was written, and quit trying to make a production number out of it?

It was THE worst rendition I've ever heard. An embarrassment to say the least.

Why in the world the picked the Stones for halftime, in Motown, is also beyond me.

As much as I like the Stones, I too wondered why they didn't have any famous Motowners performing at half.
