Has anyone done the Ardastra Gardens shore excursion in Nassau? What did you think? Was it fun?

Ardastra Gardens and City Tour (2.5 hours)

Discover the lush, tropical Gardens of Ardastra, where you can see the world-famous marching flamingos strut their stuff, feed beautiful lory parrots by hand, and view the largest collection of Bahamian land animals in the world. Then depart on a narrated city tour with visits to many of Nassau's historical points of interest, such as Fort Fincastle, Water Tower, the Queen's Staircase and many more.

Adult Price: $36 (ages 10 and above)
Child Price: $26 (ages 3-9)

We did this excursion in March. I have two boys, 9 and 4, and they really enjoyed the visit to the "Zoo". They fell asleep during the city tour! If I would do it again, I would just take a taxi to Ardestra(sp) myself. The tour didn't spend enough time at the gardens in my opinion. I don't know how much the taxi would cost, but it isn't that far from the dock, so I don't think it would cost too much. The marching flamingos were a hoot! We had our picture taken (free) with parrots--they turned out great. Hope this helps.
