NASCAR PICKS!! Michigan International Speedway ~ results & link to Bristol page 3

The 23rd race of the 2009 NASCAR season takes us to Brooklyn Michigan for the CARFAX 400 onSunday August 16, 2009!

The Michigan International Speedway is an oval track with a lap distance of 2.0 miles. The racers will make 200 circuits for a total race distance of 400 miles.

Qualifying is set for Friday August 14th, so PLEASE make your picks before qualifying begins.

Bill Elliott has the most wins here since 1975 with 7 wins.

Other history:

In an earlier race this year (June), #83 B Vickers won the pole and #5 M Martin won the race.

In 6/08, #2 Kurt Busch had the fastest qualifying time in a race won y #88 JR!

In 8/08, #83 B Vickers led at the start but #99 C Edwards crossed the start/finish line ahead of everybody.

In 6/07, JJ Yeley turned in the quickest time to lead the pack in a race won by #99 C Edwards.

In 8/07, #24 J Gordon had the honors but gave way to #2 Kurt Busch.

What? No mention of #48 J Johnson in the history??? I think that's a first.....
