The middle third of the season ends with the Bristol race on Saturday, August 22nd. This race is the 24th of 36 races for 2009.
It's called the "Sharpie 400" ffor some reason....
Bristol Motor Speedway is in Bristol, Tennessee and is an oval track.
The lap distance is .533 miles and will go 500 laps for a totl race distance of 276 miles.
Qualifying is scheduled for Friday, August 21st, so PLEASE make your picks before the qulifying starts.
Darrell Waltrip has the mst wins here since 1975 with 12 victores.

Earlier this year, in 3/09, #5 M Martin had the pole ina race won by #18 Kyle Busch.
In 3/08, #48 J Johnson won the pole in a race won by #31 J Burton.
In 8/08, #99 C Edwards did the deed from start to finish.
In 3/07, $24 J Gordon turned in the fastest qualifying time and #18 Kyle Busch led at the end.
In 8/07, #9 K Kahne had the pole honors and #99 C Edwards won the race.
