The 4th race of the 36 race 2010 season is at the Atlanta Motor Speeedway on Sunday, March 7th.

The 'Kobalt Tools 500' is held in Hampton. GA at the Atlanta Motor Speedway. This speedway is an oval track with a lap distance of 1.54 miles.

The racers will complete 325 laps for a total distance of 501 miles.

Qualifying is scheduled for Friday, March 5th. Please make your picks before qualifying is scheduled to begin.

#3 Dale Earnhart has the most wins here since1975 with nine victories.

other history:

In 3/09, #5 M Martin won the pole and #2 Kurt Busch won the race.

In 9/09, #56 M Truex had the fastest qualifying time in a rce won by #9 K Kahne.

In 3/08, #24 J Gordon led to start the race but #18 Kyle Busch took home the trophy.

In 10/08, #48 J Johnson was first behind the pace car and #99 C Edwards grabbed the checkered flag.

FYI - #48 J Johnson won both races in 2007.
