RACE DAY! :bounce:

Congrats to Kyle Busch for his win yesterday. Gotta love seeing the LOWES car win at the LOWES track. I always liked Kurt's driving but Kyle is now my favorite Busch - he appears to have learned from his brother both his driving and not making the same mistakes - he has the driving ability and the common sense required to make it ;) Besides he drives for Hendrick Motorsports!!!

So how are you guys filling the time until the 5PM race today? I'll probably check in on the Indy 500 to see how Robby Gordon is doing but I won't watch the whole race. It's just not as exciting as NASCAR.

Hopefully Tony can run the double next year with Robby, if they don't change the time the 500 starts (possibly a mid afternoon start) .... Andy

I missed it again. :( Sorry ToriLammy I don't mean to mess up your score sheet. :(

Val,

I can start sending you a link each week. We try to keep it on the first page by bumping the thread but this is a very active board and within hours it's often back to page 3 or 4. Let me know if you want me to ;)

I would LOVE a link!

Or you could even post the new link at the end of the past week link if that would be easier. I always slide in at the last minute.

I appreciate any help I can get!

That would be great. I guess I should search for it, sometimes I just forget. I meant to record the race tonight, but forgot. At least we get to see the last 45 laps.

Congratulations Jimmie Johnson, Kyle Busch, Hendrick Motorsports and LOWES for a great weekend of dominating and winning races ;)

Congrats to this week's winner Fire14. Awesome picks - the only one who didn't pick either the 24 or the 12 ;)

I thought for sure everyone was going to kick my butt this weekend because of Gordon and Martin's poor performances but then Newman blew up and evened it all out. Sorry guys, most of you would have had much better finishes if he hadn't blown up. His 35th finish really drug you down. And how about Mikey Waltrip and his 2nd place finish - DH was happy! Here's how we all did.

DH was ready to turn it off about half way through. VERY tough night for Jeff. Hopefully he'll rebound next week.

Congratulations to Fire!

Marcie, I thought about it, A LOT but I kept hoping once the sun went down that Gordon's car would find some hidden power somewhere and at least start picking up those laps he lost (or that half the field would wreck and he'd pick up spots that way). Alas was not to be...at least he only lost one spot in the top 10, going from 3rd to 4th. Normally when his team has a really bad week they come back like gangbusters. He has done well at Dover in the past so onward and upward we go ;)

I am always last! And I keep up with Nascar!!!!!!! I watch the Nascar shows on Fox Sports, I check the websites, I know who is good at what tracks and who isn't. I give up! I just didn't think Jimmie Johnson would repeat. oh well so much for ever participating in this again. :teeth:
