I am always last! And I keep up with Nascar!!!!!!! I watch the Nascar shows on Fox Sports, I check the websites, I know who is good at what tracks and who isn't. I give up! I just didn't think Jimmie Johnson would repeat. oh well so much for ever participating in this again. :teeth:

Ahh, Uncle Kyle don't leave. I run this game and trust me I know a lot about NASCAR yet I haven't even won yet (it's actually kind of embarassing but I press on). It's all in good fun, no one ever makes fun of anyone because we all know deep down that it really is just luck. Some weeks you're gut tells you one thing but the track and drivers prove that gut instincts aren't always right. Sometimes fate steps in and all your drivers do really well and you win. I hope you will continue to play, we've had folks from last one week to winning the next so you are in a good position for winning Dover. ::yes::

:cheer2: Congrats Fire14! :cheer2:

Another one here glad to see Mikey finally have a good week!
He sure deserved one.;)

Congrats Fire 14 :D .

Newman! (said in my best Jerry Seinfeld voice) Seems like I every time I pick him he drags me down. I should have went with Mickey ::yes:: . I'm hoping Jr. has a win next week because Johnson sure is coming fast and furious in the points. I like Johnson but I still want it to be Jr.'s year. Now if Kenseth moves up from third I may have to barf :crazy2: ;) !

 Hope everyone has a great week!

Oh my gosh I won i won. Maybe I should play lotto LOL.

You do understand the "Chase for the Championship" right Val? Doesn't matter how many races Jr wins or how far ahead in the points he has come race 27 (New Hampshire on 19 Sep) because as of that date the points leader will have 5050 points, #2 will have 5045, #3 will have 5040, #4 will have 5035 so that by the time you get to the #10 driver in points he will only be 50 points behind the leader. Basically, the top 10 start all over and it's anyone's game. And here's a barf bag \_/ because Kenseth took over 3rd in points last night (moving Gordon to 4th in points but as long as he is in the top 10 when then reach race 26 I don't care - he can win easily from 50 points out ;) )

Oh yes, I understand it ToriLammy. I would just like to see him stay on top all the way to the end :D . I saw Kenseth moved up to third.

I miss read that, about Kenseth moving up from 3rd -- sorry. I thought it read if he gets to 3rd duh....sorry again.

There's a LOOOONG way to go in this season...

Tori, how to you feel about Robby Loomis? I know he has had personal issues with his Mom and that is his priority but I'd rather see him take a short leave than have another race like last night. He admitted his head was not in the game. I believe his priorities are correct but at this level of competition I think you need to have your head, or someone else's, in the game 100%.

Marcie,

I almost get the impression that they are "talking up the problems" to the press and such so we won't be surprised when he does take a leave of absence. I think it's coming soon. DW mentioned during qualifying that Gordon's "back bench" of people is better than most teams "front bench" so I get the impression that there are folks there that can step in. If you compare Jeff's qualifying effort with his race effort then yeah, Robbie's head is definitely not in the game. Maybe someone (Jeff or Rick) needs to take the decision away from Robbie and tell him to go take care of his mom, that the team will survive, his being with his mom is more important for him now.

Congrats Fire14. I just got home from the shore, normally a 1 hr. drive took 5 HOURS. :( The traffic was awful and that was the back roads. We watched the race there but DH didn't enjoy it much being a Gordon fan.

Congrats FIRE14!!! That's some mighty fine picking for the longest race of the season.
