Never posted here, but just wanted to tell everyone that I am going to the race this weekend! Disappointed that Jr won't be racing, but I hope he recovers quickly!

Just an FYI, Jr. started the race, so he gets the points, not Truex. So, it shouldn't matter for the folks, like me, who picked Jr.

Well....glad this one is over! Talk about good news/bad news. Even though Martin did have as good of day as they hoped, Jr. is still second in points. Not to wish bad luck on anyone, but it probably helped that Jimmie had some problems as well.
Now time to rest then on to pocono (sp?).

Did everyone see the Rusty/Dale Jarrett spin? I told DH as Rusty was spinning, I bet Dale bumped him. Oooops!!! I am surprised Rusty wasn't more upset....that's cool of him.

Oops, looks like I need to explain how our weekly game works. Each week you pick the top 5 drivers you think will finish best (and a spare incase one of those drivers doesn't make the race either because of qualifying or injury).

After the race I take those 5 drivers' finishes and add them up - divide the number by 5 and that is your overall finish for the week. The winner each week is the lowest finisher. I keep track of those scores each week and at the end of 9 races I add them all up and divide by the number of races - that's your season standing. Our game has nothing to do with points racing I allowed folks who picked Jr to substitute drivers because they picked Jr and not Truex. I gave them the opportunity because Jr was injured and was not going to drive the whole race. I thought I was just being fair.

Really thought Newman had this one but alas was not his turn. Gordon tried but Busch's car was too good - drat. Really bummed about Rusty, he had a good run going but one of those racing things (Jarrett) took him out. How about Mikey - 6th nicely done. You know he still thinks he can make the top 10 by Richmond. He keeps running like that he might just do it
