:wizard: We have just made an ADR at Narcoossees for August. The menu looked interesting and we've never been there before. Has anyone been there recently? Any opinions, info or pictures would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!:

Been 3 times. Most recent last Oct. Each visit was very enjoyble, food good. Had ADR each time but still waited a bit to get seated. 15 mins or so. Its a few minutes walk to get to from the parking lot.

You've made an excellent choice! :thumbsup2 Narcoossee's is our ultimate favorite restaurant at Disney. We return everytime. We usually order the whole lobster or the surf n turf. Both are out of this world! For an appetizer I usually order the crab cakes, which are just delicious! For dessert I get the key lime creme burlee. The service is top notch here!!!!!

We like to take the resort boat from the MK to the GF and back. It is a nice relaxing ride.

Also, when you arrive request a window seat, the view is beautiful.

we ate at narcoosees twice last september

both times, we had the crab cakes, scallops (DH), whole lobster (me), and the almond crusted cheesecake!!! (soooo good!)

going back this coming october again - twice - to narcoosees!

Narcoossee's is our all time favorite! The Surf n Turf is awesome! We went last year for my B-Day and had a wonderful time. This year we made Adr's for DH'd B-Day, he can't wait. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do:thumbsup2

Ate at Narcoossee's a couple weeks ago and it was great as always. If you like muscles, theirs are great with bread! I had the surf and turf and it was great....

Does anyone bring kids there? We have a 4,3,2 year old- Usually well behaved out to eat - we would bring them out if they werent- think it would be okay?

We went last Sept. for first time (on DDP) and are going back this Sept. I have a dining review on link below inc. Narcoossee's. We took my DD7 and it was fine. The table next to us had several young children (a few under 3) and they were fine too. Have a great meal

We will be taking a 5yo at the end of August. He knows this is a "dress up" meal. So he's excited to wear either his new short sleeved button down or golf shirt with his khaki shorts. My guess he'll also be in white sneakers, but hey for 5yo I'll take it. Tell them its a special dinner and let them select an outfit or part of an outfit. That way they will look forward to the event and probably try to behave even better than usual.

We just took the 5yo out to a nice Italian place last week. He was determined to place his own order, small cheese pizza, :) the waitress was really sweet and took the time to allow him to place his own order (we had already put the order in). Maybe let them look at the menu and select beforehand then let them order(at least the 4yo). Its funny how determined they can be at those ages!

I am so excited for this dinner, its our first night meal and we should see Wishes and the Electric Water Parade for the deck while we're there. :cool1:

I have four young children also and while I definately did see other children there in January 07, I think it is more of an adult restaurant. I was with just my husband and it is the perfect couple night out beautiful view excellent food restaurant. Children would be fine but I think there are lots of other more kid friendly options in WDW where they would have more fun.

its my favorite restaurant at Disney! love the steak and the almond crusted cheesecake! you can check out my rdining review in my signiture. it is towards the end, it was out last night there :cool1:

We ate at Narcoossee's on our last visit (for the first time; it will NOT be our last). We had a WONDERFUL evening. The food was absolutely delicious. Seven of us went for dinner. We all enjoyed the crab cakes, calamari, chowder, and mussels for appetizers. (The calamari has a relish on it that one of our family members really didn't like; you can ask for it on the side if you wish.) For our entrees, we had chicken breast, halibut, snapper, lobster, and surf and turf.
They were all wonderful; the chicken breast received the fewest raves. I thought the crab cakes, calamari, and surf and turf were out of this world! The only desserts we had were the almond-crusted cheesecake (WOW!!) and the creme brulee (was also enjoyed by those who ordered it; but not as much a wow factor as the cheesecake). This restaurant has the most magnificent view of the MK fireworks! If you will be there any time around Wishes, request a window seat. Also, take a stroll out on the deck, because the ambiance is spectacular! Enjoy!!!!
