Narcoossee's or Brown Derby?

I am going on what will probably be the last trip with my eldest daughter (just the two of us...the other two kids said they were too busy) and we can't decide which signature restaurant to go to. I think Narcoossee's sound better, but she thinks Brown Derby sounds better! Anyone who has been to both, which do you prefer and why? Thanks!

Narcoossee's is our date night place. In 20 years, we've eaten there at least 14 times and NEVER have had a bad meal. If you work it right, you can get a window seat for Wishes (unless you go out on the verandah).

Which fits best in your plans? Personally, I prefer the service and food at Brown Derby. I also love that it's a really nice break in the middle of our park day at DHS. I wasn't wowed by the food at Narcoosse's & the large non-dining fireworks-watching crowd (wrapping around the porch & intentionally blocking the view for diners) was unappealing to me, for the overall experience.

Both are great places to eat. Narcoossee's gives you the quick access to other monorail resorts for entertainment or pop into MK. On the other hand you can see the awesome fireworks at HS after Brown Derby.

If you choose Brown Derby, ask to be seated in the Bambo Room. It's much quieter.

Narcoossee's times a million!

My wife and I dine there our first night every trip we take. Sort of our kick-off meal for the week. Never had a bad experience. Very intimate setting and if you can catch Wishes, it's great for viewing.

We usually do a light lunch at Brown Derby. The Cobb salad fills me up at lunch. I'd do that AND Narcoossee's.

We had a good experience at Narcoosee's, but would second your suggestion to check out Citricos! Definitely a stellar meal and atmosphere!

My party got sick from the lobster once...and I mean very sick. Still gave it two more shots and the steak (yeah no more lobster) wasn't the best cut of meat both times and service was just alright...nothing spectacular. I just prefer to go elsewhere.

Yes Citrocos is really good. I know it had a bad rap from years ago but since new management took over (shout out to Boris) they seemed to have turned things around. Just saw that the Executive Chef left though so I will be curious to see what happens in the coming weeks.

I like Narcoosee's more for the ambience. The food is good, but not amazing IMO. We've gotten better food and service at Brown Derby and I think their menu is a bit more interesting.

Been to Narcoosee's twice, but Brown Derby is on my must list. Certainly the best restaurant in DHS. If she's leaning towards that, then I'd say that would be the call.

Narcoossee's without question. Had the WORST meal ever at Brown Derby in Dec. This is after reluctantly trying it again after a really bad experience there a few years ago. We love Narcoosee's and always fit it into our schedule!

Narcoossee's is a must do for us every trip and we have always had a good meal. The Brown Derby is a little hit or miss for us and not a favorite. I would do Narcoossee's hands down for either dinner or brunch is great also. Have fun!

Narcoossee's has a wonderful raspberry beer on their menu (Lindemann's). And the lobster tail was excellent. We loved our meal there in January.

We did both on our trip last April/May and the food at Brown Derby was better but the atmosphere at Narcoossee's blew away Brown Derby. We went in time to watch the Electric Water Pageant and Wishes and it was great. It depends on what you're looking for but for a special dinner I'd probably go with Narcoossee's for the extras.
