25 wedding anniversary trip, have V&A setup. Should we go to Narcoosse or Artist Point? Haven’t been to either.

Thanks

We love Artist Point. The atmosphere is quiet and lovely and the food and service have been consistently stellar. Unfortunately, we've had two bad experiences at Narcoosee's (super slow service and stone cold food). I really can't give it high marks.

Congratulations!

AP may be a (marginally) more romantic restaurant, but I prefer the romance of the inside of the Grand Floridian (and Narcoossee's is outside, past the pool).

Coin-flip.

Seriously though, I may prefer Narcoossee's menu to AP, but I think I'd still recommend AP for a more romantic evening (unless one of you really likes steamed lobster).

You can't go wrong with either. I'm taking my wife to narcoossee's for our honeymoon, but we are also eating at artist point later.

Narcoosee's, hands down! Amazing lobster and other seafood. Relaxing. It's far away from the crowds. And you can see fireworks and the electrical water pageant from your table.
I went to Artists Point for Christmas, and thought it was ho hum.

I love both. Go with the menu that appeals most to you. I will add that for atmosphere, I would go with Artist Point. More quiet and romantic.

You'll enjoy either one.

Artist Point hands down!! :)
The food is INCREDIBLE and frankly its the best signature restaurant i've been to. Everything was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is quiet and so beautiful, perfect for an anniversary dinner. The service is one of the best i've ever received. Cant wait to eat there again on my next trip.

My humble opinion...

I love both places' menus but would rate Narcoossee's slightly higher in appeal to my tastes.

Both restaurants are romantic if you can get a window table, but I would rate Artist Point higher in general romantic ambiance.

Our Narcoossee's experiences have been marred by the loud noise level and kids running around and screaming. I think Narcoossee's is more popular with families with small children.

Artist Point has always been generally very quiet and not a lot of kids (or they were well behaved) in our experiences.

Both restaurants lend themselves to relaxing strolls around the areas where they are located.

So....for a romantic evening as you've described it I'd go with Artist Point.

I would choose Artist Point just for the mushroom soup. Although you can get that in the Lounge.

I'd go with AP just for the different location. Wilderness Lodge is a beautiful building and a story line. Between the two restaurants, both are very good but AP has a few more unique menu items.

I haven't been to Narcoossee's, so I can't comment about that experience. I have been to Artist Point...and it was quiet and beautiful, and the atmosphere is very romantic, IMO. The food was also really, really good. Beyond that, the service we received there was the best we've ever received in our many experiences at WDW. We were stuffed by dessert, so six of us ordered a cobbler so that we could each get a bite while the seventh in our party ordered the cheese tray. Our waitress came out with two desserts (saying the chef insisted we would not be satisfied with just a few bites each) AND had complimentary champagne...and this after each of us ordering two appetizers each rather than an entree (we had an early lunch at Prime Time and despite our late ADR at AP, we weren't ready for a full meal). So we weren't 'big spenders', other than our wine bill, lol. AND, the cobbler was outstanding. It was a really incredible experience all around. I'd go there again without hesitation!

TrustTheScupper. . .
Artist Point!
. . . Narcoossee's is a madhouse.
. . . Narcoossee's is noisy, noisy, noisy.
. . . Narcoossee's is busy and crowded.
. . . Narcoossee's menu is not as creative as Artist Point.
. . . Narcoossee's s not romantic, where AP is quiet-serene-romantic (ask for a window table).

I would choose Narcoossee's only if you plan on doing brunch, since it is less busy and loud during that time since most people are in the parks.

I would choose Artist Point if you plan to do a dinner, wonder service & amazing selection of food.

Do yo have a preference on the menus? Both are very good. If you want to watch fireworks, clearly Narcoossees. Personally we like AP better. Seems a little quieter. Last fall , the cheese tray was amazing. When my wife and daughter ate at Narcoossees this spring, they saw many more children there and my wife thought it was louder. In the end, you should be happy with either choice.

We have been to both restaurants and they both have very different atmospheres. Artist Point is relaxing and quiet. Narcoossee's is very noisy. We had a lovely anniversary dinner at Artist Point this past May. They gave us a champagne toast and a little dessert for our anniversary. :)

We have never tried Artist Point but was wanting to on our next trip! I was wondering if it is a kid friendly restaurant! My kids will be 8 and 10 at time of travel!

We have always been comfortable with our children at AP. If your children were 2 or 3, it might be a concern if they couldn't sit for a long meal. At 8 and 10 they should be fine.

To the OP, definitely AP. Romantic, quietest among the Signatures (save perhaps Jiko), superb menu, excellent service, good wine list, and very lovely place to walk around outdoors after the meal. You can even see quite a bit of Happily Ever After (with piped in music) from Geyser Point. I would recommend most of what they offer on the menu, but particularly the smoky mushroom bisque, the pappardelle, and any charcuterie item off the starter dishes. From the entree menu, they are well known for the salmon dish as well as the buffalo and scallops. Though the berry cobbler is their more well known dessert, the housemade donuts are quite marvelous. They have an excellent wine selection, but the Sineann Pinot Noir is delectable and relatively affordable by the glass. As Rusty says, ask for a window seat. We like to arrive a bit early (5:30-6), and it's usually easy to get a window seat. Finally, let them know ahead of time you're celebrating an anniversary.

Though quite a lovely and overall quiet restaurant, AP is still kid friendly. Given the nature of the restaurant, we've mostly observed over the years that children in there are usually well-behaved. The servers do an excellent job with them, as well. I believe the kid's dessert is still one with paintable candies which is quite unique.
