Narcooses around fireworks

I've seen some people mention that reservations around fireworks are often delayed because people will stay and wait at their table until after the fireworks.

While it would be nice to see the HEA fireworks from dinner that's not really my concern because we will see them in the park and from CG at other times on our trip.

What I'm wondering is if an 8:20 reservation for narcooses is early enough reservation that we won't be waiting crazy amounts of time to get seated. Or should we try to move to an earlier time? (Fireworks are at 9:15 this night)

Another vote to try earlier. Anything close to an hour before fireworks is going to be difficult. And people will try and stretch their reservation to the fireworks.

As others have said if fireworks are not a priority earlier would probably be better, but that said we've had a reservation there around the same time and had no issue getting seated.

We have dined at Narcoossee's twice at that time (reservation for two). We usually have to wait around 10 minutes, but we've always been seated well before the fireworks. If you get stuck, just go out on their deck to view the fireworks - we did that the first time we dined there, even though we had a table. Both on the deck and in the restaurant are magical. Unless you have a really big party, I wouldn't worry so much.

I woudl try for an earlier time. I know that we plan out ADR so we can either have dessert and coffee just before fireworks, or just after. The server times it for us.

I mean fireworks aren't a priority but I also don't want to get stuck leaving a park way earlier. I guess I'll hope that I have the experience that others have had and only wait 10-15 minutes! Or I'll aim to get there 15 minutes early to check in and hopefully that might help.
